Role Responsibilities
Technical Execution
- Choose and configure plugins or write clean, efficient code to accomplish project requirements.
- Ensure deliverables are functional, user-friendly, and aligned with client goals.
- Test, debug, and troubleshoot to maintain quality and minimize errors.
- Stay current with industry trends and tools to suggest modern, efficient solutions that are easy to maintain.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Account Managers (AMs) and Strategists to clarify requirements and expectations.
- Provide input on feasibility, timelines, and potential risks for each project.
- Communicate proactively when roadblocks arise or when additional details are needed.
- Document technical decisions, updates, and changes to prevent rework and scope creep.
Task & Project Support
- Review assigned tasks regularly to ensure steady progress and timely delivery.
- Identify dependencies and communicate them early to AMs or Strategists.
- Break larger projects into smaller, manageable components for efficiency.
- Suggest creative or more efficient approaches to project execution when possible.
Quality & Risk Management
- Anticipate potential technical challenges (compatibility issues, performance bottlenecks, etc).
- Test thoroughly before delivering work to avoid preventable issues.
- Maintain documentation.
- Provide solutions that minimize future risks or maintenance burdens.
Self–Management
- Stay organized in task tracking tools (e.g., Teamwork) and update progress frequently.
- Regularly ask:
- What is the next step for this project?
- Are there potential issues that need to be discussed?
- Is the project meeting expectations?
- Seek opportunities to improve efficiency in personal workflows and project execution.
Job Requirements
- Currently, WordPress is the primary CMS we use, so understanding how to troubleshoot WP errors, work with the WP database, build WP plugins and themes, work with WooCommerce, and have a general awareness of the best WP plugins available
- Programming languages: PHP, JS, CSS
- Familiarity with webhooks and working with APIs
- Familiarity with web hosting servers and config, Linux, DNS, domains, etc.
